Global MNC Tech is seeking a meticulous and proactive Remote QA Tester to join our innovative Web3 and blockchain development team. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional passionate about ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain-based features. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and product managers to identify defects, execute test cases, and ensure that our cutting-edge blockchain solutions meet the highest standards of performance and security.
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Web3 applications, smart contracts, and blockchain-related features.
Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of decentralized platforms and applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs, inconsistencies, and potential security vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues effectively.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols in blockchain testing.
Stay up-to-date with emerging blockchain technologies, Web3 protocols, and testing methodologies.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, etc.) and smart contract testing.
Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Python, JavaScript).
Solid understanding of Web3 technologies, including wallets, tokens, DeFi protocols, and NFTs.
Proficiency in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional remote teams.
2–5 years of experience in QA testing, preferably with a focus on blockchain, Web3, or decentralized applications.
Demonstrated experience with smart contract testing and understanding of blockchain security principles.
Proven track record of contributing to successful software or dApp launches.
Fully remote role with flexible working hours, ideally overlapping with the [specify time zone, e.g., GMT/EST] for team collaboration.
Occasional participation in sprint planning, review, or urgent bug-fix meetings may be required.
Deep understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized networks.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
