Job Summary
Global MNC Tech, a leading multinational technology and retail solutions company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to join our remote retail logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate inventory records, analyzing stock levels, and optimizing supply chain operations. This position requires a proactive professional who thrives in a data-driven environment and can collaborate effectively across departments to ensure seamless product flow and operational efficiency.
Monitor, maintain, and reconcile inventory levels across multiple retail locations and distribution centers.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to forecast stock requirements and prevent shortages or overstocking.
Develop and maintain reports on inventory performance, turnover rates, and stock accuracy for management review.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures in alignment with company policies and industry best practices.
Support audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Recommend and execute corrective actions to resolve inventory discrepancies and operational inefficiencies.
Assist in system upgrades and the implementation of inventory management tools.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or similar systems).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to implement practical solutions efficiently.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, retail logistics, or supply chain operations.
Proven experience in analyzing inventory trends and implementing process improvements.
Prior experience in a remote or distributed team environment is preferred.
Full-time, remote position with standard business hours (flexible scheduling may be considered based on time zone alignment).
Occasional meetings across global teams may require availability during non-standard hours.
Deep understanding of inventory control principles, retail logistics, and supply chain processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and cross-team collaboration.
