Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Remote Video Editor specializing in short-form social media content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels. This role focuses on producing engaging, on-brand videos that enhance our digital presence and drive audience engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, sharp editing skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends and algorithms.
As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will transform raw footage into visually compelling content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with a global audience.
Edit and produce high-quality short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.
Apply creative storytelling, visual effects, motion graphics, and sound design to elevate content.
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure videos align with brand guidelines, marketing objectives, and social media trends.
Repurpose long-form content into short, captivating clips for social media campaigns.
Continuously monitor trends, competitor content, and platform best practices to maintain relevancy and engagement.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
Optimize video content for engagement metrics, including watch time, click-through rates, and shares.
Provide creative input for campaign strategy and content ideation.
Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and social media content trends.
Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, transitions, and sound design.
Excellent storytelling skills and a keen eye for visual composition.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication skills for collaborating with remote teams.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in video editing, preferably focused on social media platforms like TikTok or Instagram.
Proven portfolio of engaging short-form videos that demonstrate creativity, brand alignment, and audience engagement.
Experience working in a fast-paced digital marketing environment is highly desirable.
Remote, flexible schedule with core collaboration hours (e.g., 10 AM – 3 PM GMT) to coordinate with the global marketing team.
Ability to meet project deadlines and adjust working hours according to campaign needs.
Deep understanding of social media algorithms and strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
Creative problem-solving skills for translating concepts into visually compelling content.
Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate quickly.
