Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and innovative Cloud Solutions Architect (AWS) to join our Global Operations team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust cloud architectures.

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in driving our cloud-first strategy, modernizing legacy systems, and ensuring our infrastructure supports business growth, performance, and compliance across global markets. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work with international teams and cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end AWS cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

• Lead cloud migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization of workloads.

• Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.

• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).

• Ensure high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity of cloud systems.

• Implement and enforce cloud security, compliance, and cost-optimization strategies.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to development teams.

• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms.

• Create technical documentation, solution blueprints, and architecture diagrams.

• Act as a key technical advisor to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.

• Proficiency in cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance standards.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Solid understanding of networking concepts, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional) are highly preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or solutions architecture roles.

• Proven experience leading large-scale cloud implementations and migrations.

• Experience working in global, distributed teams and enterprise environments.

• Prior exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid environments is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote role.

• Flexible working hours aligned with Global Operations teams.

• Availability for overlap with US, Europe, and APAC time zones when required.
