Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Remote Patient Intake Coordinator to join our fast-growing telehealth platform. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients accessing our digital healthcare services. You will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and professional onboarding experience by collecting accurate patient information, verifying eligibility, scheduling virtual appointments, and coordinating with clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing patients via phone, email, and chat.

  • Collect, verify, and accurately enter patient demographic, medical, and insurance information into the system.

  • Schedule and coordinate telehealth appointments with providers.

  • Guide patients through the onboarding process and explain telehealth procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy policies, and data protection standards (HIPAA).

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health system.

  • Follow up with patients regarding documentation, missing information, and appointment confirmations.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff, billing teams, and technical support to resolve patient issues.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns professionally and empathetically.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-focused mindset.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

  • Proficiency in using computers, CRM systems, and healthcare software.

  • Ability to multitask and manage high volumes of patient interactions.

  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.


Experience

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in healthcare administration, patient coordination, medical receptionist, or customer service roles.

  • Prior experience in telehealth, medical clinics, hospitals, or health insurance is highly preferred.

  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems is a strong advantage.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Flexible shifts available depending on region and patient coverage.

  • May include rotating shifts, evenings, or weekends to support global patients.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and patient intake processes.

  • Understanding of medical terminology and insurance verification basics.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
