Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote ESG Auditor to support our mission of driving sustainable business practices across global organizations. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, auditing, and validating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance in line with international sustainability frameworks and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with corporate clients, sustainability teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure ESG compliance, improve transparency, and enhance sustainability reporting. This is a strategic role for professionals passionate about corporate responsibility, risk management, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ESG audits and assessments for corporate clients across various industries.

• Evaluate sustainability policies, procedures, and performance indicators against recognized ESG standards.

• Review and validate ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and regulatory filings.

• Identify ESG risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities within business operations.

• Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for compliance and performance enhancement.

• Monitor evolving ESG regulations and global sustainability frameworks.

• Support clients in preparing for external ESG ratings, certifications, and regulatory inspections.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG best practices into corporate strategies.

• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails in line with compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ESG principles, sustainability reporting, and compliance frameworks.

• Proficiency in ESG standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, and UN SDGs.

• Excellent analytical and auditing skills with high attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to interpret complex regulatory and sustainability data.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sustainability reporting tools.

• Strong stakeholder management and consulting capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of professional experience in ESG auditing, sustainability consulting, compliance, or corporate risk management.

• Experience working with ESG reporting platforms or sustainability software is a plus.

• Prior experience in audit firms, consulting companies, or corporate sustainability teams preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.
