Position: Community Manager – Remote Tech & Developer Hubs
Startup Inno is seeking a passionate and highly organized Community Manager to lead and grow our global network of tech professionals, developers, founders, and innovators. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for building vibrant online communities, fostering meaningful engagement, and creating an inclusive environment where members can collaborate, learn, and thrive.
As a Community Manager, you will act as the bridge between our brand and our community. You will design and execute community strategies, manage multiple digital platforms, organize virtual events, and work closely with product, marketing, and growth teams to ensure our communities add real value to both members and the business.
This role is ideal for someone who understands developer culture, enjoys connecting people, and is excited about shaping the future of tech communities on a global scale.
Build, manage, and scale online communities across platforms such as Discord, Slack, Telegram, GitHub, and social media channels.
Develop and implement community engagement strategies aligned with Startup Innos mission and growth objectives.
Onboard new members and ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Moderate discussions, enforce community guidelines, and handle conflict resolution professionally.
Plan and host virtual events, AMAs, hackathons, webinars, and meetups.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to launch campaigns, feature updates, and community initiatives.
Gather community feedback and insights to support product improvement and decision-making.
Track community metrics (engagement, growth, retention) and prepare regular reports.
Identify and nurture community advocates, ambassadors, and power users.
Represent Startup Innos brand voice consistently across all community touchpoints.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Proven ability to build relationships and engage diverse audiences.
Familiarity with tech ecosystems, startups, and developer communities.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Experience using community platforms and tools (Discord, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, CRM tools, etc.).
Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging content and activities.
Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze community metrics.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
2+ years of experience in community management, social media management, customer success, or related roles.
Previous experience working with tech startups, SaaS platforms, or developer communities is highly preferred.
Experience managing global or distributed communities is a strong advantage.
Experience in organizing online events, workshops, or hackathons is a plus.
Fully remote role with flexible working hours.
Availability to engage with a global community across multiple time zones.
Expected commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week), with some flexibility for events or live sessions.
Deep understanding of online community dynamics and digital engagement strategies.
Knowledge of developer tools, platforms, and open-source culture is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with a community-first mindset.
Ability to write engaging posts, newsletters, and announcements.
Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
