Job Summary
Startup Inno is seeking a highly detail-oriented and bilingual Remote Medical Scribe (English/German) to support healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real time. This role is critical in enabling physicians to focus on patient care while ensuring that all medical records are complete, precise, and compliant with clinical and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and German, has strong medical terminology knowledge, and thrives in a fast-paced, virtual healthcare environment aligned with US working hours.
Attend virtual or audio patient consultations and document clinical interactions in real time.
Accurately transcribe patient histories, symptoms, physical examinations, diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans.
Enter medical data into Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems following US healthcare documentation standards.
Ensure all notes are clear, concise, and compliant with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
Assist physicians with chart preparation, order entries, and clinical documentation improvement.
Review and edit medical records for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize clinical workflows and documentation quality.
Full professional fluency in English and German (both written and spoken).
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation.
Excellent listening, typing, and real-time transcription skills.
Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and digital healthcare tools.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home workspace.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Scribe, Medical Transcriptionist, or in a similar healthcare documentation role.
Prior experience working with US-based healthcare providers is highly preferred.
Experience in telemedicine, virtual clinics, or remote healthcare settings is an advantage.
Background in nursing, healthcare, life sciences, or medical assisting is a plus.
US Shift (Night shift for most international candidates)
