Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote ESG Auditor to support our growing portfolio of innovative organizations in achieving excellence in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, auditing, and validating sustainability practices, policies, and reporting frameworks across multiple industries. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure regulatory compliance, data accuracy, and alignment with global sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ESG audits and assessments across environmental, social, and governance domains.

• Review and validate sustainability data, metrics, and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.

• Evaluate corporate policies, procedures, and controls against ESG standards and frameworks.

• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and improvement plans.

• Support clients in aligning with international ESG standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, and UN SDGs.

• Identify ESG risks, gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, finance, and sustainability.

• Monitor evolving ESG regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

• Assist in the development of ESG strategies, KPIs, and internal control systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of ESG principles, sustainability reporting, and compliance frameworks.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

• High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, ESG software platforms).

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in ESG auditing, sustainability consulting, risk management, compliance, or corporate governance.

• Prior experience with ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability audits is highly preferred.

• Experience working with multinational clients or remote teams is a plus.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position.

• Flexible working hours with core collaboration time aligned to global teams.

• Full-time role (40 hours per week).
