Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Inventory Controller – Supply Chain Support to join our growing operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and supporting end-to-end supply chain processes across multiple regions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. You will collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to maintain inventory accuracy, reduce operational risks, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all systems and locations.

  • Track inbound and outbound stock movements, ensuring timely updates in inventory systems.

  • Reconcile physical inventory with system data and investigate discrepancies.

  • Support demand planning by analyzing stock levels and consumption trends.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.

  • Generate regular inventory reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management.

  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts, overstock, and obsolescence.

  • Assist in cycle counts, audits, and month-end inventory close activities.

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance supply chain performance.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and supply chain best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP, WMS, or similar platforms).

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).

  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of data accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.

  • High level of integrity and accountability when handling operational data.


Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations, or logistics.

  • Prior experience in a remote or virtual work environment is an advantage.

  • Experience working with global suppliers or multi-location inventory systems is preferred.

  • Background in manufacturing, e-commerce, retail, or technology sectors is a plus.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Standard working hours aligned with business operations (typically 8–9 hours per day).

  • Flexible scheduling depending on time zone, with some overlap required for global team collaboration.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.

  • Knowledge of forecasting, replenishment, and stock optimization techniques.

  • Ability to interpret data and transform insights into actionable recommendations.
