Job Summary
Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Inventory Controller – Supply Chain Support to join our growing operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and supporting end-to-end supply chain processes across multiple regions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. You will collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to maintain inventory accuracy, reduce operational risks, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all systems and locations.
Track inbound and outbound stock movements, ensuring timely updates in inventory systems.
Reconcile physical inventory with system data and investigate discrepancies.
Support demand planning by analyzing stock levels and consumption trends.
Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.
Generate regular inventory reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts, overstock, and obsolescence.
Assist in cycle counts, audits, and month-end inventory close activities.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance supply chain performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and supply chain best practices.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP, WMS, or similar platforms).
Advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Excellent attention to detail and high level of data accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
High level of integrity and accountability when handling operational data.
2–5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations, or logistics.
Prior experience in a remote or virtual work environment is an advantage.
Experience working with global suppliers or multi-location inventory systems is preferred.
Background in manufacturing, e-commerce, retail, or technology sectors is a plus.
Full-time, remote position.
Standard working hours aligned with business operations (typically 8–9 hours per day).
Flexible scheduling depending on time zone, with some overlap required for global team collaboration.
Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
Knowledge of forecasting, replenishment, and stock optimization techniques.
Ability to interpret data and transform insights into actionable recommendations.
High level of organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
