Job Summary

Global MNC Tech, a leading multinational technology company, is seeking a highly skilled Remote QA Automation Engineer specializing in mobile app testing to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our mobile applications across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests for mobile applications.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.

• Identify, document, and track defects and ensure timely resolution.

• Review and enhance test frameworks, tools, and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to defining acceptance criteria for new features.

• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and internal quality standards.

• Stay updated on the latest trends in mobile automation, testing tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in automated testing frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Espresso, or XCUITest.

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Solid understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and mobile application lifecycle.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on mobile application testing.

• Hands-on experience in testing mobile applications across multiple devices and operating systems.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote work with flexible hours.

• Collaboration with teams across different time zones may occasionally require overlapping hours for meetings and coordination.
