Job Summary

Global MNC Tech, a leading multinational technology company, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Bookkeeper specializing in GST and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the finance team in all bookkeeping activities. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to a dynamic and growing global organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Ensure GST compliance by preparing, reviewing, and filing returns on time.

• Handle tax calculations, submissions, and reconciliations in accordance with local and international regulations.

• Monitor financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies promptly.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.

• Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and assessments.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Certified GST Practitioner or equivalent certification in tax compliance.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping standards, and taxation laws.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP).

• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Effective communication skills for reporting and liaising with internal teams and external auditors.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping and tax compliance.

• Prior experience working remotely or with multinational companies is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated experience in managing GST filings and corporate tax compliance.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position with flexible working hours, aligned with the companys reporting requirements.

• Ability to occasionally attend virtual meetings across different time zones.
