Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our global remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-focused technical documentation for complex systems, APIs, and digital platforms. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and solution architects to translate technical concepts into well-structured, easy-to-understand documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

This position is ideal for professionals who have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving user experience through high-quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and maintain technical documentation including API guides, system manuals, user guides, and knowledge base articles.

• Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams to gather accurate technical information.

• Create and manage API documentation using tools such as Swagger, Postman, or similar platforms.

• Simplify complex technical concepts into clear and concise content for different audiences.

• Ensure documentation standards, version control, and content consistency across all platforms.

• Review and update existing documentation to reflect product changes and system enhancements.

• Create diagrams, flowcharts, and technical visuals to support written content.

• Maintain documentation repositories and ensure accessibility for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in technical writing and documentation best practices.

• Experience documenting APIs, SaaS platforms, or enterprise systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, GitHub, Markdown, or MadCap Flare.

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven organization.

• Prior experience working with software development teams.

• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments is highly preferred.

• Background in cloud platforms, APIs, or enterprise software is an advantage.
