Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA Automation Lead to join our global engineering team. This is a fully remote role, ideal for a technology-driven professional who is passionate about building scalable automation frameworks and leading quality assurance initiatives across complex digital platforms.

As a QA Automation Lead, you will play a strategic role in defining the quality vision of our products, designing robust automation frameworks, and mentoring a team of QA engineers. You will collaborate closely with software developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure software releases.

This role requires strong technical expertise in test automation, leadership skills, and a proactive mindset to continuously improve testing processes in an agile and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks.

• Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and best practices across projects.

• Manage and mentor a team of QA automation engineers.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage including functional, regression, API, performance, and security testing.

• Review test cases, automation scripts, and test execution reports.

• Identify quality risks and propose mitigation strategies early in the SDLC.

• Drive continuous improvement in testing tools, methodologies, and processes.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.

• Communicate quality metrics and progress to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• At least 3–4 years in a QA Automation Lead or Senior QA role.

• Proven experience leading automation initiatives in large-scale applications.

• Experience working in distributed or remote teams is a strong advantage.

• Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time, permanent role.
