Startup Inno is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Remote Medical Scribe fluent in English and German to support healthcare providers during US working hours. In this role, you will work remotely with physicians and clinical teams to accurately document patient encounters in real time, ensuring that medical records are complete, precise, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
This position is ideal for candidates with a background in healthcare documentation who are passionate about improving clinical workflows, patient care quality, and operational efficiency in a fast-growing digital health environment.
Accurately document patient encounters in real time during virtual or in-person consultations.
Record medical histories, symptoms, examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
Transcribe physician dictations and ensure all entries are properly structured within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Translate or support documentation in both English and German when required.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data protection standards.
Review medical charts for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Assist physicians by managing clinical documentation to allow them to focus on patient care.
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Fluency in English and German (spoken and written).
Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 50–60 WPM preferred).
Proficiency in using EHR/EMR systems and digital documentation tools.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong listening and comprehension skills.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet home working environment.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a medical scribe, clinical documentation specialist, or similar healthcare role.
Experience working with US healthcare providers is highly preferred.
Prior experience in telemedicine or remote healthcare services is a plus.
Fresh graduates in healthcare fields (nursing, life sciences, allied health) with strong medical knowledge may also be considered.
US Shift: Typically aligned with US business hours (EST/CST/PST).
