We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Grant Researcher – EU Innovation & Green Funds to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and tracking European funding opportunities related to innovation, climate action, sustainability, and digital transformation. You will play a critical role in supporting our consultants and clients by ensuring they have timely and accurate intelligence on funding calls and grant programs.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about research, public funding, sustainability, and innovation ecosystems, who enjoys working remotely in an international environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research and monitor EU funding programs such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, EIC, Erasmus+, Interreg, Digital Europe, and national green funding schemes.

  • Identify relevant calls for proposals aligned with client projects and internal innovation initiatives.

  • Prepare clear summaries and funding briefs for each opportunity, including objectives, eligibility, budgets, deadlines, and evaluation criteria.

  • Maintain and update internal databases of grants and funding opportunities.

  • Support proposal development teams with background research and funding insights.

  • Track policy updates and strategic priorities from the European Commission and funding bodies.

  • Analyze trends in innovation and green funding to provide strategic recommendations.

  • Coordinate with international partners and stakeholders when needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to synthesize complex funding information into clear and structured reports.

  • Proficiency in online research tools, databases, and document management systems.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Interest in innovation, sustainability, climate policy, and public funding.


Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in grant research, public funding, consulting, policy research, or a related field.

  • Experience working with EU-funded projects or programs is highly preferred.

  • Background in international development, sustainability, economics, public policy, or innovation management is an advantage.

  • Fresh graduates with strong research and academic experience may also be considered.


Working Hours

  • Fully remote position.
