Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Global Infrastructure Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of our distributed systems across global regions. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and systems operations, designing automation, improving system resilience, and enabling high availability for mission-critical services.

As an SRE at Startup Inno, you will collaborate closely with product engineering, cloud architects, and security teams to build robust infrastructure that supports rapid innovation while maintaining exceptional service reliability for our customers worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple regions.

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using industry-standard observability tools.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to reduce manual operational work.

  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews.

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.

  • Optimize system performance, latency, and cost efficiency.

  • Ensure system security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and operational excellence.

  • Establish and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs), SLAs, and error budgets.

  • Continuously improve reliability through proactive testing, chaos engineering, and fault tolerance design.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Linux/Unix system administration.

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Solid programming skills in at least one language (Python, Go, Java, or Bash).

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).

  • Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles.

  • Proven experience managing production environments with high availability requirements.

  • Experience supporting globally distributed systems is a strong advantage.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).

  • Flexible working hours with overlap across global time zones.

  • May require participation in on-call rotations for incident response.
