Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly detail-oriented and reliable Remote Bookkeeper – Certified Xero Specialist to manage and maintain accurate financial records across our growing portfolio of clients and internal operations. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about numbers, thrives in a remote environment, and has hands-on expertise with Xero accounting software. You will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting, supporting business decision-making at a global level.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero.
Manage daily bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support.
Collaborate with external accountants and auditors when required.
Identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues proactively.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Xero Certification (mandatory).
Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients or accounts simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant.
Demonstrated experience working with Xero in a professional setting.
Experience in remote or virtual accounting roles is highly preferred.
Exposure to international clients or multi-currency accounting is a plus.

Expected commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
Occasional availability during month-end or financial closing periods.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
Ability to interpret financial data and generate meaningful insights.
