Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Centre Support Specialist – Remote Site Access to join our global IT operations team. This role is responsible for providing remote operational support to multiple data centre environments, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between on-site teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders, delivering world-class support through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.

Provide remote operational support for data centre facilities, including servers, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
Monitor systems and environments using enterprise monitoring tools to detect and respond to incidents.
Perform remote troubleshooting and coordinate with on-site technicians for hardware replacements and physical interventions.
Manage access control requests and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Handle incident, problem, and change management processes in line with ITIL best practices.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, incidents, and system configurations.
Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Support audits, compliance activities, and capacity planning initiatives.
Provide technical support to internal users and third-party vendors.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents as required.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of data centre operations and infrastructure components.
Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, IBM), storage systems, and networking equipment.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or similar.
Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL preferred).
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
2–5 years of experience in data centre operations, IT infrastructure support, or a similar role.
Experience working in enterprise or multi-site environments is highly desirable.
Prior experience with remote support and virtual collaboration tools is an advantage.
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Rotational shifts may apply, including night or weekend coverage based on business needs.
On-call support may be required for critical incidents.
In-depth knowledge of data centre best practices and operational procedures.
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, switching).
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure in time-sensitive situations.
