Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Health & Safety Consultant – Wellbeing Focus to support our global workforce in creating safe, healthy, and productive work environments. This role is designed for a professional who is passionate about occupational health, employee wellbeing, and compliance with international safety standards.

As a Remote Health & Safety Consultant, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing wellbeing-driven health and safety strategies across diverse teams and regions. You will work closely with HR, operations, and leadership teams to promote a proactive safety culture, reduce workplace risks, and enhance employee engagement and wellbeing in a fully remote and hybrid working environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve health, safety, and wellbeing programs aligned with company objectives.

  • Conduct remote risk assessments, audits, and safety evaluations across global operations.

  • Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with occupational health and safety regulations.

  • Promote employee wellbeing initiatives, including mental health, ergonomics, stress management, and work-life balance.

  • Deliver virtual training sessions and workshops on health, safety, and wellbeing topics.

  • Monitor compliance with local and international HSE standards and recommend corrective actions.

  • Analyze safety data, incident reports, and wellbeing metrics to identify trends and improvement areas.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on health, safety, and wellbeing best practices.

  • Support incident investigations and implement preventive measures.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of global health and safety standards and wellbeing frameworks.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for virtual environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities.

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.


Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in health and safety, occupational health, or employee wellbeing roles.

  • Proven experience in remote or hybrid workforce environments is highly desirable.

  • Experience working with multinational or large organizations is an advantage.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Flexible working hours with availability to collaborate across different time zones.

  • Standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, with occasional flexibility for global meetings or training sessions.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and compliance standards.

  • Strong knowledge of workplace wellbeing, mental health, and ergonomic practices.

  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.

  • Proficiency in digital tools, collaboration platforms, and virtual training systems.
