Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a passionate and dedicated Remote Primary Tutor – Online Literacy & Numeracy to support young learners in developing strong foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys working with children in a virtual environment and is committed to delivering engaging, student-centered online lessons.

As a Primary Tutor, you will work closely with students aged 5–11, helping them build confidence, improve academic performance, and foster a love for learning through interactive digital tools and personalized teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality online lessons in literacy (reading, phonics, writing) and numeracy (basic mathematics concepts).

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.

• Assess students learning levels and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

• Provide individual and small-group tutoring sessions.

• Track student progress and prepare regular performance reports.

• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development.

• Use digital platforms, virtual whiteboards, and interactive tools to enhance learning.

• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and inclusive online learning environment.

• Support students with homework, test preparation, and skill reinforcement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Education, Primary Education, Child Development, or a related field.

• Teaching certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Strong command of English (spoken and written).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.).

• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, child-friendly manner.

• High level of patience, empathy, and adaptability.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience teaching or tutoring primary school students.

• Prior experience in online or virtual teaching is highly desirable.

• Experience working with international students is an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working hours.

• Typically 15–30 hours per week, depending on student demand.

• Availability during evenings or weekends may be required to accommodate global learners.
