Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented National Data Collection Specialist – Remote Research to support our large-scale research and analytics initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about data, research methodologies, and evidence-based decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, validating, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple national-level sources to support business intelligence, market research, policy studies, and strategic planning projects.

As a National Data Collection Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, research managers, and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality, reliable, and timely data delivery. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with global teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute data collection plans for national and large-scale research projects.

  • Gather data from multiple sources including surveys, online databases, government portals, reports, APIs, and field data partners.

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through validation and quality checks.

  • Clean, structure, and organize datasets for analysis and reporting.

  • Conduct desk research and secondary research to supplement primary data.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and assumptions.

  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to interpret findings and resolve data gaps.

  • Prepare summaries, dashboards, and basic reports for internal teams.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical research standards.

  • Continuously improve data collection processes and research methodologies.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Social Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in data collection tools such as Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, or similar platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and basic data management techniques.

  • Familiarity with research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative).

  • Ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends and patterns.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.


Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in data collection, research, data analysis, or a similar role.

  • Experience working with national-level datasets or large research projects is preferred.

  • Prior experience in market research, social research, or business intelligence is an advantage.

  • Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant internships may also be considered.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Standard working hours: 40 hours per week.

  • Flexible schedule with availability required for virtual meetings across different time zones.
