Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our global finance team in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial operations across multiple jurisdictions. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, financial reporting under US GAAP, and ensuring adherence to local statutory and regulatory requirements.

As a key business partner, you will work closely with senior leadership, external auditors, and regional finance teams to provide strategic financial insights, strengthen internal controls, and support the companys growth objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end financial accounting and reporting process in compliance with US GAAP and local regulations.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Ensure timely and accurate closing of books and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

• Oversee statutory compliance, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.

• Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.

• Partner with business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

• Manage external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

• Analyze financial data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for cost optimization.

• Support M&A activities, system implementations, and financial process improvements.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed finance and accounting team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory accounting standards.

• Excellent understanding of financial controls, compliance frameworks, and audit processes.

• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote and global team environment.

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA is highly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or controller position.

• Prior experience in a multinational organization or shared services environment.

• Proven track record of handling audits, regulatory compliance, and complex financial reporting.

• Experience managing remote or cross-border finance teams is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Flexible working hours with overlap required for US and global business stakeholders.

• Occasional extended hours may be required during month-end, quarter-end, or audit periods.
