Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Officer – Remote Environmental Reporting to join our global sustainability and compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting across our international operations. You will play a key role in ensuring that our sustainability strategies align with global environmental standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) objectives.

This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams worldwide while driving measurable environmental impact through accurate reporting, transparent disclosures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the collection, validation, and consolidation of environmental data (energy, carbon emissions, water usage, waste, and biodiversity metrics).

• Prepare and manage sustainability reports aligned with global frameworks such as GRI, CDP, TCFD, and ISO 14001.

• Monitor environmental performance and track progress against sustainability targets and KPIs.

• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for internal stakeholders and executive leadership.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability disclosure requirements in multiple regions.

• Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, and IT teams to improve data quality and reporting processes.

• Support carbon footprint assessments, life cycle analysis (LCA), and environmental impact studies.

• Contribute to sustainability strategies, action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Stay updated on global sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Business Sustainability, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and data management skills, with experience handling large datasets.

• Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, ESG standards).

• Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, global environment.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, environmental compliance, or related roles.

• Proven experience preparing sustainability or ESG reports for large organizations.

• Experience working in a multinational or global corporate environment is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with carbon accounting tools and environmental management systems is an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Flexible working hours with overlap required for collaboration across global time zones.

• Standard 40-hour work week, with occasional extended hours during reporting cycles.
