Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly organized and student-focused Remote Admissions Coordinator to support our U.S. higher education partners. In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the admissions journey from initial inquiry to enrollment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
As an Admissions Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the student experience while ensuring that institutional policies and academic standards are upheld.
Serve as the primary liaison between prospective students and the admissions department.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and virtual platforms regarding programs, requirements, and deadlines.
Guide applicants through the full admissions process, including application submission, document collection, and follow-ups.
Review applications for completeness and accuracy before forwarding for evaluation.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and student information systems.
Coordinate virtual interviews, counseling sessions, and onboarding activities.
Collaborate with academic advisors, enrollment managers, and marketing teams to meet enrollment targets.
Provide timely updates and support to students regarding admission decisions.
Ensure compliance with U.S. higher education policies and data privacy standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal skills with a student-centric approach.
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM systems.
High level of organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a fully remote setup.
Professional phone and email etiquette.
1–3 years of experience in admissions, enrollment services, education counseling, or a similar role.
Prior experience with U.S. higher education institutions is highly preferred.
Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is an advantage.
Evening shift aligned with U.S. business hours.
Typical schedule: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST (or equivalent U.S. EST/CST overlap).
Full-time, Monday to Friday (may include occasional weekends during peak enrollment seasons).
Knowledge of U.S. higher education systems, application processes, and academic programs.
Ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
