Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy Remote Technical Business Analyst – Retail Digital Operations to join our global digital transformation team. In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering units to drive the design, optimization, and delivery of scalable digital solutions across retail platforms.

You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, supporting system enhancements, and improving end-to-end digital retail processes. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments and has a strong understanding of both retail operations and modern digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with retail business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.

• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications for development teams.

• Support digital transformation initiatives across e-commerce, POS systems, CRM, ERP, and supply chain platforms.

• Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization for retail operations.

• Work closely with product managers, developers, QA, and UX teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.

• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and technical documentation.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and release cycles.

• Analyze system performance, data flows, and integration points.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities in digital processes.

• Act as a subject matter expert for retail digital systems and business workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in business analysis within technical or digital environments.

• Solid understanding of retail systems such as e-commerce platforms, POS, OMS, CRM, ERP, and inventory systems.

• Ability to write clear functional and technical documentation.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Comfortable working with remote, cross-functional global teams.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role.

• Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or digital operations is highly preferred.

• Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data flows is a plus.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position.

• Flexible working hours with overlap required for global team collaboration.

• Standard full-time role (40 hours per week).
