Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our global finance team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong expertise in IFRS and US GAAP, who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment. The Financial Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic business decisions through high-quality financial insights.

As part of our distributed team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions, contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, and help strengthen internal financial controls while driving continuous improvement in accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

• Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulations.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights on variances, trends, and performance.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (tax, payroll, FP&A, operations).

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in financial data.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3–6 years of experience in financial accounting or similar role.

• Prior experience in a multinational or global organization is preferred.

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CMA is a strong advantage.
