Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a meticulous and creative Technical Writer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will transform complex technical concepts, product specifications, and software development processes into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure all technical materials—including user manuals, API documentation, release notes, and internal guides—are accurate, consistent, and accessible for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for software products, APIs, and internal systems.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to gather technical information and translate it into understandable content.

• Create and maintain style guides, templates, and documentation standards for consistency across all materials.

• Review technical content for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.

• Ensure documentation is accessible to diverse audiences, including developers, end-users, and internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on documentation tools, processes, and best practices.

• Support content localization and adaptation for global teams when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in software, IT, or engineering environments.

• Strong understanding of software development processes, APIs, cloud platforms, and technical concepts.

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, Git, ReadTheDocs, or similar platforms.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in technical writing or content development for software or engineering teams.

• Hands-on experience producing API documentation, SDK guides, and internal knowledge bases is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Flexible working hours with core availability for team collaboration (usually overlapping with US or European time zones depending on the team).
