Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and integrity of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices, conduct audits, and maintain regulatory compliance across multiple cloud platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud security, possesses a deep understanding of compliance frameworks, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.

• Conduct regular cloud security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure for security breaches and respond promptly to incidents.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Recommend and implement security tools, encryption technologies, and best practices for cloud environments.

• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards on security posture, audit findings, and compliance status for leadership.

• Stay updated with emerging cloud security threats, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Masters degree preferred.

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficiency in cloud security tools, firewalls, identity and access management, and encryption technologies.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA).

• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, auditing tools, and incident response procedures.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security certifications are highly desirable.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, or IT compliance roles.

• Proven track record of managing security audits and compliance programs for cloud infrastructure.

• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Flexible working hours with occasional requirement to attend meetings across different time zones.
