Job Summary

Startup Inno is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Platform Engineer to drive the development and optimization of our internal developer portals. This role will focus on building scalable, reliable, and user-friendly platforms that empower our engineering teams to work efficiently across multiple projects. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in platform engineering, strong leadership skills, and a passion for improving developer experience.

As the Lead Platform Engineer, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps, and product teams to create innovative solutions that streamline development workflows, automate processes, and maintain high standards of performance and security. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines architecture, implementation, and mentorship of engineering talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of internal developer portals and platform tools.

• Define architecture standards, best practices, and development guidelines for platform initiatives.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify pain points and implement solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.

• Build scalable, secure, and maintainable platform services using modern cloud-native technologies.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of internal platforms.

• Drive automation of repetitive processes, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling to enhance operational efficiency.

• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to maintain a cutting-edge developer experience.

• Partner with security and compliance teams to enforce best practices in access control, logging, and monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, TypeScript).

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native architecture.

• Proven expertise in building internal developer portals, developer tooling, or platform engineering solutions.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Solid knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, and service orchestration.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams.

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role.

• Hands-on experience in designing and managing large-scale developer platforms.

• Proven track record of successfully implementing platform solutions that enhance developer productivity and operational efficiency.
