Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Engineer (L2) to join our dynamic global IT team. This role focuses on providing advanced technical support, resolving complex IT issues, and ensuring seamless operational efficiency for our distributed workforce. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with excellent communication skills to support multiple stakeholders worldwide, driving continuous improvement in IT service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced Level 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across global locations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT incidents promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Collaborate with Level 3 engineers and IT management to implement permanent solutions.

  • Monitor IT systems, applications, and network performance, proactively identifying potential issues.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and processes.

  • Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining IT infrastructure and systems.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 support staff and junior engineers.

  • Participate in global IT projects, system upgrades, and new technology rollouts.

  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

  • Expertise in networking protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud-based services.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global stakeholder support.

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.


Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in IT support or system administration, with at least 2 years in an L2 or senior support role.

  • Experience supporting global, remote teams is highly desirable.

  • Exposure to enterprise IT environments, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack).


Working Hours

  • Full-time, flexible schedule to accommodate global time zones.

  • Occasional off-hours support may be required for critical incidents.
