Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our remote design and planning team. This role focuses on providing technical support, innovative design solutions, and project planning assistance across diverse civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong analytical skills, working collaboratively to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards while supporting our global initiatives from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and optimize civil engineering designs for various infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and commercial developments.

• Provide technical support to project teams, offering solutions for complex design and construction challenges.

• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.

• Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and compliant with local and international standards.

• Utilize CAD, BIM, and other engineering software to create accurate design drawings and documentation.

• Conduct site inspections (virtually or on-site when required) to monitor project progress and provide remote guidance.

• Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.

• Support project managers in scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management for remote projects.

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering and construction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters preferred.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an advantage.

• Strong proficiency in civil engineering software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, Revit, or similar tools.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, structural analysis, and project management principles.

• Knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, planning, or project management.

• Experience in remote collaboration and using digital engineering tools for project delivery.

• Prior involvement in multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Flexible full-time hours with the ability to coordinate across multiple time zones.

• Occasional requirement for meetings or collaboration outside standard working hours depending on project needs.
