Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated Junior DevOps Engineer with a focus on Infrastructure Monitoring to join our dynamic IT team. You will work closely with senior DevOps engineers to monitor, analyze, and maintain our cloud and on-premises infrastructure, helping our global technology operations run efficiently and securely.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, cloud platforms, and automation tools, building a strong foundation for a long-term career in DevOps and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain infrastructure health, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of servers, networks, and applications.

• Assist in the configuration, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Implement and maintain monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or Zabbix.

• Respond to alerts, incidents, and system outages, performing root cause analysis and documentation.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate routine tasks.

• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, monitoring procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system monitoring, alerting, and reporting capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and networking concepts.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies.

• Understanding of monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or Zabbix.

• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

• Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or DevOps-related roles.

• Internship or hands-on project experience in infrastructure monitoring, cloud services, or automation is a plus.

Working Hours

• Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible hours may be available).

• May require occasional on-call support for critical system incidents.
