Global MNC Tech is seeking an experienced and visionary DevOps Lead – Smart Grid Management to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our DevOps practices across smart grid and energy management platforms. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance of systems that support real-time energy distribution, monitoring, and analytics.
As a DevOps Lead, you will bridge the gap between software engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams, enabling faster delivery of reliable, resilient, and secure smart grid solutions. You will play a strategic role in driving automation, cloud transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives within a highly innovative and mission-driven environment.
Lead and manage DevOps strategy for smart grid platforms and energy management systems.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical applications.
Architect and manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
Ensure high system availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
Collaborate with software engineering, data science, and IoT teams to optimize deployments.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
Enforce security best practices, DevSecOps methodologies, and compliance standards.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and system performance tuning.
Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of automation and reliability.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Solid understanding of networking, system architecture, and security concepts.
Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
At least 2–3 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
Prior experience in smart grid, energy, utilities, IoT, or large-scale enterprise systems is highly preferred.
Proven track record of delivering highly available and scalable systems in production.
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
