Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and mission-driven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support and scale our Financial Inclusion Platforms. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, availability, performance, and security of large-scale, cloud-based systems that power digital financial services for underserved communities across global markets.

As an SRE, you will bridge the gap between software engineering and IT operations, applying engineering principles to automate, monitor, and improve system reliability. You will work closely with product, engineering, data, and security teams to build resilient infrastructure and ensure seamless service delivery for millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure for financial platforms.

• Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to ensure proactive incident detection and resolution.

• Automate operational processes including deployments, scaling, patching, and recovery using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.

• Define and maintain SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets to align reliability goals with business objectives.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve system design, performance, and security.

• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data protection standards relevant to financial services.

• Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability.

• Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).

• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or Java).

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, New Relic).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Solid understanding of networking, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.

• Experience supporting high-traffic, mission-critical systems, preferably in fintech or financial services.

• Proven experience in incident management, system reliability engineering, and automation.

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week).

• Flexible working hours with global team collaboration.

• On-call rotation required for production support.

• Fully remote or hybrid options depending on location.

• Ability to design systems for high availability and disaster recovery.
