Global MNC Tech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer – Dockerized App Support to join our growing technology operations team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern application deployment. You will work closely with senior DevOps engineers, software developers, and IT operations teams to support, maintain, and optimize containerized applications in a highly scalable and secure environment.
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools, while contributing to the reliability and performance of business-critical systems used by global clients.
Assist in deploying, managing, and supporting Dockerized applications across development, staging, and production environments.
Monitor application performance and system health using logging and monitoring tools.
Support CI/CD pipelines and help automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches.
Document system configurations, processes, and incident resolutions.
Assist in managing cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Respond to incidents and provide first-level support for DevOps-related issues.
Follow security best practices and assist in implementing compliance standards.
Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and practices.
Hands-on experience or academic exposure to Docker and containerization.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
Understanding of version control systems (Git).
Exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or a related role.
Fresh graduates with relevant internships, projects, or certifications are encouraged to apply.
Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
Standard business hours with flexibility based on project needs.
Occasional on-call or shift support may be required for production systems.
Remote or hybrid work options depending on location and team requirements.
Understanding of container orchestration concepts (Kubernetes is a plus).
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
