Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer – Social Impact Tech to join our growing technology team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure that supports platforms focused on education, healthcare, sustainability, and digital inclusion.

You will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and data teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of mission-driven digital solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

  • Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across multiple environments.

  • Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency.

  • Automate operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and improve productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection standards.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

  • Support scalable microservices architectures and containerized applications.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and DevOps best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and Agile practices.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).


Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer role.

  • Proven experience managing production environments for scalable applications.

  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.

  • Prior experience in social impact, NGO, or sustainability-focused projects is a plus.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.

  • Flexible working hours with overlap for global collaboration.

  • Remote or hybrid work options available depending on location.
