Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Remote Medical Interpreter to support our high-volume healthcare operations. This role requires fluency in English and at least one other language, with the ability to accurately interpret medical conversations between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced virtual environment. As a crucial link in the healthcare delivery process, you will ensure patients receive clear, accurate, and empathetic communication regarding their medical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation between patients and healthcare professionals in medical settings, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

• Translate medical documents, instructions, and educational materials as needed.

• Facilitate effective communication across multiple languages in high-volume healthcare environments.

• Maintain detailed records of interpreted sessions according to organizational and regulatory standards.

• Adhere strictly to HIPAA and other privacy regulations while handling sensitive patient information.

• Collaborate with healthcare staff to clarify medical terminology and ensure mutual understanding.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with medical terminology and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Fluency in English and at least one additional language (spoken and written).

• Exceptional listening, comprehension, and verbal communication skills.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.

• Ability to remain neutral and professional in sensitive or emotionally charged situations.

• Excellent multitasking and time management abilities to handle high-volume assignments.

• Familiarity with telecommunication platforms and remote work tools.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of professional medical interpreting experience, preferably in high-volume healthcare or hospital settings.

• Previous remote work experience is highly desirable.

• Experience in handling emergency or urgent care situations is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position.

• Flexible scheduling may be required to accommodate healthcare facility hours and patient needs.

• Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
