Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex problems in precision agriculture, crop monitoring, and yield optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, agronomists, and software developers to integrate AI solutions into existing platforms.

• Analyze large-scale agricultural datasets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights for operational improvements.

• Continuously optimize ML algorithms for performance, scalability, and accuracy.

• Conduct research on emerging AI and machine learning technologies relevant to AgTech, and translate findings into practical applications.

• Document methodologies, maintain reproducible workflows, and present technical results to stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.

• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies while handling sensitive agricultural data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field. PhD is a plus.

• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages; experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

• Proven experience in designing, training, and deploying machine learning models.

• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively in a remote, global team.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in AI/ML, preferably with exposure to AgTech, IoT in agriculture, or related domains.

• Demonstrated track record of successful machine learning projects, ideally including predictive modeling, computer vision for agriculture, or sensor-based data analytics.

Working Hours

• Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours to accommodate global collaboration.

• Occasional virtual meetings across time zones may be required.
