As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting robust APIs, optimizing database performance, and implementing scalable server-side solutions that enhance user experience. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems using Go and Node.js.

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture for high-traffic applications.

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability.

• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software engineering, testing, and code reviews.

• Contribute to system architecture discussions, ensuring solutions are secure, maintainable, and efficient.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose enhancements to improve platform scalability and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and Node.js, with hands-on experience in backend development.

• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

• Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.

• Proven track record of building and deploying large-scale web applications and APIs.

• Experience in a remote-first environment is a plus.

• Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
