Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and deploy blockchain-based solutions, including smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) for DeFi platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to develop scalable blockchain architecture.

• Conduct rigorous testing and auditing of smart contracts to ensure security, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

• Integrate blockchain solutions with existing systems, APIs, and third-party services to deliver seamless user experiences.

• Stay updated with emerging trends in blockchain, DeFi protocols, and crypto technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the companys platforms.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize blockchain applications to maintain high performance and reliability.

• Document development processes, code, and system configurations for team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or similar smart contract programming languages.

• Hands-on experience with blockchain frameworks like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, or Polkadot.

• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, etc.), and crypto-economic models.

• Familiarity with cryptography, consensus algorithms, and distributed ledger technologies.

• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend integration for dApps.

• Knowledge of security best practices for smart contracts and blockchain systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in blockchain development or related software engineering roles.

• Proven track record of deploying smart contracts and working on live DeFi or crypto projects.

• Experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, remote role with flexible working hours.

• Occasional overlap with Penang office hours for team meetings (UTC +8).

• Ability to manage deadlines independently and collaborate across time zones.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong coding and debugging skills in blockchain and web3 environments.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining communication and collaboration.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
