Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast customer behavior, sales trends, and inventory requirements.

• Analyze large, complex retail datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for business growth.

• Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to translate business objectives into data-driven solutions.

• Build automated data pipelines for collecting, cleaning, and transforming structured and unstructured data.

• Monitor and maintain model performance, conducting regular validation and recalibration.

• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and retail analytics to continuously improve analytical approaches.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields.

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Expertise in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a business-focused analytical mindset.

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the retail industry.

• Proven track record in developing and deploying predictive analytics solutions that improve business outcomes.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position with flexible working hours, aligned with global team collaboration.

• Occasional meetings may require overlap with U.S. or European time zones.
