Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Cloud Infrastructure team remotely from Kuala Lumpur (KL). In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our cloud systems, detecting and responding to security threats, and implementing robust security measures across our cloud platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with global cybersecurity standards and protect sensitive data against emerging threats. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure for security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies.

• Implement and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Respond promptly to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests on cloud systems.

• Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure compliance with international security standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).

• Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees.

• Produce clear documentation and reports for management regarding security posture and incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall management, and endpoint security.

• Knowledge of network protocols, encryption standards, and identity access management.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (ISO, NIST, SOC2, GDPR).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 2 years focused on cloud infrastructure security.

• Hands-on experience with cloud security architecture, monitoring, and threat detection.

• Experience in incident handling, vulnerability management, and security compliance audits.

Working Hours

• Remote position with flexible working hours aligned with KL time zone.

• Availability for occasional on-call duties and urgent security incident response.
