Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Data Analyst to join our growing sustainability and energy innovation team. This remote role focuses on supporting our Green Hydrogen initiatives by transforming complex energy and operational data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions, improve system efficiency, and accelerate the global transition toward clean energy.
As a Renewable Energy Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing production, storage, distribution, and performance data related to green hydrogen projects. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders to build data-driven solutions that optimize renewable energy assets and support long-term decarbonization goals.
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets related to renewable energy and green hydrogen projects.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track KPIs such as energy efficiency, carbon reduction, system performance, and cost optimization.
Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast energy output, demand, and operational risks.
Support project teams with data-driven insights for plant optimization, resource planning, and investment decisions.
Automate data pipelines and reporting processes for continuous monitoring of energy systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sustainability, finance, and operations.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Present analytical findings to senior management in a clear and actionable manner.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
Understanding of renewable energy systems, especially solar, wind, and hydrogen technologies.
Knowledge of statistical methods, predictive analytics, and machine learning concepts.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
2–5 years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably within the renewable energy, utilities, energy consulting, or sustainability sector.
Hands-on experience working with large datasets and real-time data sources.
Experience in energy modeling, performance analysis, or ESG data is a strong advantage.
Prior experience in remote or distributed teams is a plus.
Full-time, remote position.
