Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly detail-oriented and linguistically proficient AI Data Labeler & Zulu Language Specialist to support the development and optimization of next-generation artificial intelligence systems. In this remote role, you will play a critical part in improving machine learning models by accurately annotating, reviewing, and validating data in Zulu (isiZulu) and English.

You will collaborate with global AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams to ensure that language data is culturally accurate, contextually relevant, and aligned with high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Annotate, label, and classify large volumes of text, audio, and visual data in isiZulu and English.

• Review and validate AI-generated outputs for linguistic accuracy, tone, intent, and cultural relevance.

• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure labeled data meets project guidelines and accuracy benchmarks.

• Identify inconsistencies, errors, or biases in datasets and report findings to project leads.

• Follow annotation frameworks, taxonomies, and documentation standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and annotation processes.

• Contribute to training datasets used for Natural Language Processing (NLP), speech recognition, and generative AI models.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and data security standards at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in isiZulu (Zulu).

• Strong command of written and spoken English.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to understand linguistic nuances, grammar, semantics, and cultural context.

• Comfortable working with digital platforms and annotation tools.

• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment.

• Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, or data annotation concepts is an advantage.

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience in data labeling, language annotation, translation, linguistics, content moderation, or related fields.

• Fresh graduates with strong language skills are encouraged to apply.

• Prior experience in AI projects, NLP, or localization is a plus but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
