Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote DevOps Engineer – Automation & CI/CD to join our growing global technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems.

You will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and IT operations to streamline development workflows, improve deployment efficiency, and support continuous delivery across multiple products. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and is passionate about modern DevOps practices and automation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud environments.

  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and release cycles.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in production and staging environments.

  • Implement best practices for system reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery.

  • Manage containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and DevSecOps principles.

  • Document processes, configurations, and workflows for continuous improvement.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

  • Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts.


Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer role.

  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

  • Experience in managing large-scale distributed systems is an advantage.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Standard working hours aligned with your regional time zone, with flexibility for global collaboration.

  • Occasional on-call support for critical production incidents.
