Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor – Remote Project Control to join our global project management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cost planning, budgeting, financial control, and contractual administration for large-scale infrastructure and technology-driven projects across multiple regions.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will act as a strategic partner to project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, on time, and in line with contractual and commercial standards. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to work on international projects while collaborating with diverse, high-performing teams worldwide.
Lead end-to-end cost management for multiple projects, from feasibility and planning through execution and close-out.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation.
Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and manage change orders.
Conduct cost analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting for senior management.
Negotiate contracts, subcontract agreements, and supplier pricing.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms, project controls, and company financial policies.
Evaluate project risks and implement cost-control strategies.
Provide advisory support on value engineering and cost optimization.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and external stakeholders.
Prepare final accounts and post-project cost reviews.
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certification (RICS, MRICS, FRICS, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of project control systems, cost planning, and commercial management.
Proficiency in cost management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, SAP, CostX, or similar).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and financial discipline.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager.
Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure, construction, or technology-driven projects.
Experience working in multinational or global project environments is a strong advantage.
Prior experience in remote or virtual project management is preferred.
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Flexible working hours aligned with global project teams.
Occasional overlap with international time zones may be required for meetings.
In-depth understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JCT, or similar).
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
