Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure) to join our remote infrastructure team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based solutions that support scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving our cloud transformation strategy, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across multi-cloud environments.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, cybersecurity, software engineering, and IT operations to build robust cloud architectures that align with business goals. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to work with global teams on cutting-edge cloud technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.

  • Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.

  • Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using cloud-native tools.

  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

  • Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.

  • Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams for seamless deployments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

  • Document cloud architectures, processes, and operational procedures.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

  • Proficiency in cloud networking, including VPC, subnets, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).

  • Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

  • Understanding of cloud security principles and identity management (IAM, RBAC).

  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.


Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.

  • Experience working in enterprise or large-scale cloud environments is preferred.

  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are highly desirable.


Working Hours

  • Full-time, remote position.

  • Standard business hours with flexibility depending on project requirements.

  • Occasional availability for on-call support or system maintenance.
