Job Summary

Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our growing remote team, with a strategic focus on delivering scalable SaaS solutions for our Kiwi (New Zealand) market. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade SaaS platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure system reliability, and deliver exceptional digital experiences to global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of SaaS applications.

• Architect scalable, secure, and high-availability systems using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.

• Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

• Participate in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.

• Extensive experience with SaaS architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Solid knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL).

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of professional software development experience.

• At least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role.

• Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products.

• Prior experience working with international or remote teams is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• Fully remote role with flexible working hours.

• Must be able to collaborate effectively with teams aligned to New Zealand (Kiwi) business hours.

• Standard work schedule: 40 hours per week with outcome-based performance tracking.
