Global MNC Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer – Smart Water Management to join our growing digital infrastructure team. This role focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud platforms that power smart water management systems. You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, IoT specialists, and product teams to ensure seamless integration between applications, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data systems.
The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, cloud-native technologies, and sustainability-driven innovation, with a strong understanding of DevOps best practices in mission-critical environments.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smart water management platforms.
Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of microservices and IoT applications.
Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, performance, and security.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.
Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
Enforce DevSecOps practices and compliance standards.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and encryption.
3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Prior experience working with IoT platforms or smart infrastructure systems is a strong advantage.
Experience in large-scale distributed systems or enterprise-grade platforms preferred.
Full-time role (40 hours per week).
